An Executive's Open Letter to the Powers That Be
"Learn the truth about the failure of mitigation tactics and the harms they cause"
This is an open letter we have received from a corporate executive in Ontario. People from all walks of life are saying no to the new normal in Ontario.
To The Movers and The Shakers,
I’m an executive at a large Canadian corporation and I have always proudly proclaimed that to my colleagues, family and friends. I’m increasingly concerned by the business community’s lack of leadership with respect to the response to Covid 19. I know hundreds of extremely intelligent and capable executives and entrepreneurs. I’ve personally interacted with many of them on multiple occasions and I trust they are mostly sincere in their goals to serve their communities and create a better tomorrow through commerce. However, I’m afraid to share this letter outside the cover of anonymity. I’ve seen the negative impacts on well-meaning people questioning our over zealous and fear based responses to C19. Â
I urge CEOs and entrepreneurs to speak out against Ontario's lockdowns and ridiculous public space masking mandates. Masking, while overwhelmingly accepted and implemented in the business community has never been shown to mitigate the spread of a Human Coronavirus or other respiratory illnesses. The burden of proof lies with those demanding Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions and to date this has never been met. The largest and and most carefully constructed study to date on mask effectiveness specifically for C19 showed no significant impact. Decades of previous Random Control Trials on masking for influenza like illnesses have concluded the same. Those cannot be overturned with forecast models and CDC mannequin studies.Â
In addition, the purpose of most NPIs (including lockdowns)Â have been undertaken under the guise of healthy spread (asymptomatic) a concept that defies the robust understanding in the medical and scientific community about how ILI transmission occurs. Again, we find the evidence does not support this.
In addition to the above, we know C19 while dangerous to some is not the pandemic it could have been. Our continued ignorance of the actual evidence while relying on mathematical models is leading to the destruction of the Canadian economy and our liberal democratic tradition. A tradition that provides the support for an effective and dynamic private sector. Where are the voices of our business community leaders?Â
All this to say, I’m disappointed. CEOs, senior executives and entrepreneurs hold a unique place in the culture and fabric of Canada. The business community could show a balanced and rational approach in how we deal with the government response to C19. We could differentiate ourselves from the myopia presented in the corporate press and political circles. We could act as leaders and thoughtful voices of reason. Whether out of fear of liability or some other undeclared reason business leaders have abdicated their roles. They continue to follow the irrational focus on C19 mitigation to the exclusion of all other values. I believe damaging their prospects and their country in the process.  I urge all CEOs and entrepreneurs to seek counsel outside their current sphere. Engage with groups like Old Normal Ontario and the Great Barrington Declaration. Learn the truth about the failure of mitigation tactics and the harms they cause. You can no longer rely on the offices of public health as the scourge of groupthink has taken over.

For all the corporations and companies in Toronto especially those in the downtown core please stand together and say enough is enough. .Look at the destruction of lives that is on display there. Underground city anihalated over the past year. People pushed into poverty and homelessness. You can't even begin to comprehend the damage these psycho lock downs have done. The citizens are counting on those with some clout and connections to be their lifeline since clearly stupidity is running rampant.
Mark Towhey Radio Host gave the best advice for Premier Ford. Give the science table and others 48 hrs to come up with a plan to open safely. Yes 48 hours or your fired. The data is in. This is feasibly possible to do unless there is an agenda. So to give this premier a push in the right direction we need our large corporations to stand with the citizens.
These money leeches of government use manipulation by calling selfish those who want the end of lockdowns. The truly selfish are those who support lockdowns. Do not believe they care about your health. They do not. That's why all those docs professors politicians media are trying to wriggle out of the damage they have done. I guess the lawsuit by the German lawyer that is international the complaints filed at the International Criminal Court of the Hague and demands that CSIS MI5 FBI investigate the Chinese Communist Party for manipulation of this virus to cause instability of the Western world's economic structure and cause financial ruin which is
actually espionage and treason by those who follow along. There are many lawsuits happening in Canada and more to come if some lawyers would grow a spine.
Everyone with a brain knows you protect the vulnerable while allowing the healthy to continue on. You need the healthy to support the coffers for healthcare public housing education and so on. By doing so the healthy serve as hosts of any virus helping to weaken it and mutate naturally. Yes we have stronger viruses here and there but the handling of them remains the same. The main focus is to help the population have stronger immune systems using vitamin D supplement vitamin C and zinc and we continue to use proven antibiotics and other drugs for each individual patient who presents with symptoms. We don't isolate our elderly in LTC like they are in prison. That's so wrong. A retirement home in Courtice Ontario removed the door handles so seniors they say with covid couldnt get out. How sad. The Police are investigating this but China apparently locked citizens in their homes so where is the outrage and investigation of these human rights abuses.Patty Hadju commended China for their lockdowns. This speaks volumes of the intelligence of Patty Hadju . Can't investigate the Courtice retirement home and ignore China. This very fact should end the lock downs tomorrow.
I wish more corporations and executives would stand up to this and speak out!
